Credits explained
What credits are, where to see what each action costs, where to check your balance and spending history, and what to do when you run out.
What credits are
Credits pay for AI work such as images, song and email drafts, plan concepts and AI clips, and for sending emails. Posting, scheduling, captions and text posts currently cost no credits. You have one balance: it shows in the wallet pill in the header — hover it to see Available Credits.
What actions cost
Generation buttons show the exact cost before you spend. A one-off email uses the Send Email price under Credit Action Costs; a fan email shows its total before you send.
- Click the wallet icon in the header, or go to Settings and click the Credits tab.
- Under Credit Action Costs, the AI and Social sections list every action and its cost.
Tip: Costs can change, and some actions cost 0 credits. The button and the Credit Action Costs list always show the current price.
Check your balance and spending history
- In Settings → Credits, the My Credits card shows your available balance.
- Scroll to Credit Spendings and switch between the AI and Social tabs to see every deduction with its preview, prompt or caption, category, credits used, source (AI) or posting type (Social), and date.
- Use the date range picker to filter your history; the circular-arrow button resets filters.
Tip: The history is empty until you have actually generated or posted something — that is normal for a new account.
When you run out
When an AI action needs more credits than you have, a You’re out of credits window shows your balance, and what the action costs when it's known. Posting, scheduling, text and your brand keep working. An email send without enough credits shows an error message instead.
- On a paid plan, click Buy a top-up for a one-time credit pack, or See plans to move to a bigger plan. Both open Plan & Billing.
- On the free plan, click Upgrade for more credits, or Earn credits by referring. Top-ups are for paid plans.
- On a brand someone else pays for, a window says who to ask instead.
Tip: Top-up on the CURRENT PLAN card is greyed out on the free plan, or when no credit packs are on sale. Upgrade works either way, unless your plan is managed by your Nebulum account team.
How credits refill
The free plan comes with a one-time grant. Paid plans add a monthly allowance, listed under Features included on the CURRENT PLAN card, and unused included credits carry over one more month. On a paid plan, top-ups add credits whenever you need more.
Note: Cancelling, or moving to the free plan, removes your remaining included credits when the period you've paid for ends (straight away if you cancel immediately). Purchased and referral credits are kept, and last a year from when you get them.
